Today we announce the departure of chef and co-founding partner Tamera Clark. After three exciting, challenging and wonderful years together, Tamera is returning home to her native Vancouver to be closer to her friends and family.
Tamera, we thank you so much for the amazing creativity, beauty and deliciousness you brought to Rustique. Our incredible desserts and the menu you’ve created for Rustique will be enjoyed by our clients and friends for years to come. We are so proud to have worked with you and thank you for all you have done and sacrificed to help Rustique grow so quickly. From Wales, Australia, Cayman Islands, Montreal and now back to Vancouver, your passion and talent shine bright and we know you will succeed wherever you go and whatever you do next in the culinary world you love so dearly!
Having worked as Tamera’s Sous-chef for the past year, we are excited to announce that Rosie McDonald will be taking over as Rustique’s head pastry chef. Rosie’s incredible hands-on experience, amazing attitude, work ethic and commitment to Rustique are inspiring and we are very proud to welcome her to our management team.
We are also thrilled to welcome Josh Kauffman as our new Director of Operations and General Manager. Josh brings years of diverse experience in the food and restaurant industry and will be working with our management team and staff to grow the Rustique brand in new and exciting ways.
All the talented people who work with Rustique lovingly create every product from scratch each day. From exquisite recipe creation to all our pastry chefs, prep cooks, baristas and servers, today we thank each and every one of you for making Rustique such a great success!
