Triple Chocolate Chip Cookies

Calling all chocolate chip cookie fans! Our adorable guest-chef Kobe is baking Rustique’s gooey Triple Chocolate Chip Cookies for a very special occasion! 

You can use one of our baking mixes just like Kobe, or follow the recipe below to make this Rustique favourite at home. Enjoy! 

Ingredients
1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
3/4 cup dark chocolate chips
3/4 cup milk chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
1 egg
1 cup softened unsalted butter

Tools
2 bowls
1 spatula or wooden spoon
1 baking sheet lined with parchment paper

Instructions
Step 1
Line your baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Mix the flour, salt and baking soda together in a large bowl and set aside. 

Step 2
In another bowl, mix the softened butter, the granulated sugar and brown sugar together until smooth.

Step 3
Add the egg (and the optional vanilla extract) to the wet ingredients.

Step 4
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix well with a wooden spoon or spatula. 

Step 5 (Our favourite!)
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Scoop the dough into equal-sized balls, and refrigerate for 1 hour. 
Preheat the oven to 350F.
Place the cookie dough balls on the baking sheet lined with parchment paper and press down lightly.
Bake for 6 minutes, or until the cookies are golden brown on the sides. 

Let cool directly on the baking sheet and enjoy!
